SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

We had 3 clients from Buffalo today. With the rain/wind called for today I was anxious to get out early to get them fishing in case the Lake blew up today. We left the dock at 6:00 with the plan to fish west of the creek as I did yesterday. We had an ok day yesterday between the creek and Newmans. The water was clear but the fish were holding in the shallow water. This am while setting lines we had our first fish. A decent brown about 6 lbs. As we continued west past Newman's point, we did not move a rod. We turned around and trolled back east past the creek. Still nothing. We headed back west and hugged the shoreline from the creek to Newmans and the rods were on fire. Our first pass in 4 ft we had put a few decent browns in the boat. We hit the point and in 11 f.o.w was making a turn back in. The outside planer rod fired. After a short run, it held tight. Given a few good head shakes along the way. When the fish finally came to the surface the guy said "Holy F&%#@" at least 20 times in a row! (Time to grab the salmon net!) After a good fight at the back of the boat, the slob brown was in the net.

We ended the day with over 20 bites and 16 fish in the boat. It was wet and cold, but it was well worth the conditions. What a great morning!! The darker lures today seem to work the best. The big brown came on a gator spoon.

Great job done by Chris, Eric, and John. You guys were a blast!
