I have a variety of spoons with glow paint and tape as well as flies as well as with the UV. I usually hit them up with the flash light before putting them in the water. What is the difference between the 2? Does one glow or last longer than the other?

Your glow lures will glow after exposing them to a light source.

Your UV treated lures do not need to be charged, these will reflect the UV light that has penetrated the surface.

Skippers Trophy is right on. The UV lures are produced to absorb the UV rays from the sun. Even on a cloudy day there is still an amount of UV rays and UV is the only type of light that can penetrate water as far down as 500 feet.

Sounds good. Sounds like UV may be the way of the future and why so many manufacturers are switching over to it. Thanks for the info.
