Cannon HS10 switch issue?

Good Day,

Having some issues with one of my DR's (4 seasons old). When pulling up to raise 10' or 15' - you have to push the switch to the down position to get the ball to start back down, then up again to get it to the depth you desire. My other DR is working just fine. Leading me to believe I have a switch issue. Just a quick post to gain some additional thoughts? New switch needed?

I had a similar problem. Mine would go down but not up. Then it would work again. I replaced the switch and haven't had any problems since.

go to fish307.com they have replacement switches. If you need a whole new circuit board, they have those as well.

Thanks guys.....will work the switch first. It still works, I can manage, but had some buddies on board last week and caused undue issues.....

Those switches are tricky when working correctly. Newbies will not hold down the switch long enough to stop the ascent, a quick hit on the switch causes the rigger to reverse rather than stop. Switch may be fine, operator may be the issue.

Not sure that is your issue as could not tell by the post whether the ascent was in progress when the issue arose or whether the rigger just would not ascend without going down first.
