The morning started pretty slow. Decent water color east of the creek, so thats where we started to hook up. Not a banner day , but respectable. We landed 6 browns and 1 beautiful rainbow about 10lbs. Mostly rigger hits on a Stinger Goby spoon which took 5 fish and the others came on a Thunder stick jr. white with orange tiger stripes. Off the water by 11am. Nice day out there. Good luck to all in the derby.

Nice job! Cant wait to get back out!!! Been stuck on land for 2 WEEKS and its driving me nuts. Big Walleye trip this weekend then back at home port for a while. Hopefully place a few eye's in the derby!!
