Cannon Speed-N-Temp Probe repair

I have a Cannon Speed & Temp probe that the small wire on the bottom of the unit has broken off. With this gone, the unit won't send past 10 feet, so it's virtuallly useless unless I can get it repaired. Does anyone know if this probe can be repaired and if so, where?

Word back from Cannon today. If you break the little wire antenna off from the bottom of the probe, throw the unit in the garbage as it is not repairable. :x Guess I'll be putting my Depth Raider onto the boat in place of the Cannon Speed-N-Temp unit. In my opinion, as there are those that will probably disagree with me, the Cannon Speed-N-Temp is not well designed, especially for robustness, is clumbsy to use, and can be finicky, plus is more expensive then the Depth Raider. I have used both units now, and the Depth Raider wins hands down.
