SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Took Butch out there today. Ran west to Johnsons creek and set up in 85 fow. Third rod going in and first one goes off and then another goes off. Lakers were hungry today and again, one of them takes two lures from different lines on opposit sides of the boat. The orange slurpy super slim was dragging along in 40 fow doing nothing so I lowered it to 55 and it goes off and then the green gator NK mag comes up in this fishes mouth. Guess I need to stagger the leads off the ball more to make them work for it more. :dull:

Picked up a couple coho there in front of Johnsons and kept going west to Shadigee, where there was Laker city. Lost count of the hits and returned most to the lake except 2 smaller ones. Lost one at the back of the boat that was more than 20 lbs. The nuclear green dot protroll with green glow hammer fly was the one doing all the damage off the 140 wire diver. Others took spoons, frog, gator NK mag. A couple on the 200 copper including one of the coho hitting a mountain dew spin doctor and green crinkle fly. Seems the kings have blown off west with the ne wind. None caught and none heard of today. Bait was non existent on the screen but apparently one of the coho had found some large smelt, and not so sure but a couple were resembling salmon fingerlings, not sure but there is some scales left that kind of resemble little salmon. Most hits came in the 110 fow where there was a thin line of color in the water. Kept two of the smaller lakers for the new smoker barby, maybe get a cedar board to cook it on.....maybe eat the board...not sure.
