okuma cv45d you can go with a 30d series for your smaller core set ups I have a seven color and a 5 color both on the cv30's

I like the okumas as well. Its not for trout or salmon but... I have 10 colors of 60 lb on a 50d with enough room for a little backing. Good reel for the $$$.

Just got back from the last trip to school for the night :clap: Thats three trips back and forth tonight... :lol: Oh well I have the rest of my life to fish they are only young once ;)

Tom you need a 3 color for early season...........

3 color would be perfect and it would pull alot better on the inlines $$$ wow hope my wife doesn't see this post :lol:

Yup convector 30 for up to 6 colors. With 300the yrds of 50 lb power pro. Its tight but it fits

I have two 10 colors loaded CV 45's. I have 250 yards of 40/10 braid for backing. There is a current topic discussing the more effective set-up; 10 color or 200' copper. I am not 100% positive, but am pretty confident the 200' copper would fit on the cv45 as well.

I run my 10 color on Penn GTI 330s,my 8 color on GTI 320s and my 6 on accudepth 47s
