SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Began slightly east of the bay on the usual morning north troll in about 60 fow at 6am. saw some activity on the screen but no takers so kept trekking north, end up working 100-130 fow on north south patterns on an active pod of teenagers. This lasted until about 8am when the wind died. In total we had 5 kings in the 10-15lb range, a skippy and a steelehad in that area. 50' and 70' riggers with glow pattern Nk28's and 100' wire with white/green moutain dew spinny/hammer fly combo did the damage. The steel came off a bud light on the surface. Hung around that water until 9am and started north, wandered out toward 250 fow and back in with one laker on a free slider to show for it. Great day on the water. surface break was nothing dramatic but fell from about 47 to 45 degrees from 120-150 fow, so these kings were active just on the inside of the break per usual.

Quite a spring already, hope this holds up throughout the season!
