Made the run up to the north end in search of some browns in tight. We were able to locate a good concentration of browns on the east side in the 60-70 fow range. Also had a good rainbow bite. Ended up the day with 5 browns in the 3-4 lb range and 4 rainbows with 1 just over 5lb and 3 lakers around 3-4 lbs and 1 25" pickerel, who had the #9 straight rapala sideways in his mouth! Also lost one after about a 60 second fight which included a 45 foot rip of drag, chased the boat, started to make another run and then pulled free. I have not been that mad after losing a fish in a long time, I'm sure it was a BIG brown that I was looking for. All browns and bows came on blue and green spoons between 25-35 down on the riggers. Not really any bait to speak of. Wind started to blow around 10:30 and the bite stopped. Moved out deep and picked up the lakers.
