No Red Cross Tournament This Year

Sorry everyone, but got the word today that there will be no tourney this year. "After much thought and debate, we have decided to take a one year hiatus from Reeling For Relief.

We feel with all the changes, economy and new restructuring, that we should focus on reeling for Relief 2013".

Let's hope this economy can rebound and Reeling For Relief can come back bigger!

dave, watkins glen still has not signed off on the shootout. They are making this tough to happen this year. The first ever might not happen till next year. I will have an update as soon as I get more info.

That is a great tourney for me. I placed every year I fished it. Such a shame for such a great tourney. The only big tourney on the fingers with all the lakes. UUUUGGGGG!!!!!!! what will it take to make it happen?

The National Lake Trout Derby is looking at ideas to increase revenue. I think this is something the Derby Group should consider. Does anyone have any literature from this? Possibly The Rules and catagories?
