Scotty Downriggers 2106 vs 1106

Hi !

Getting ready to switch to electric riggers . Was wondering if the Scotty's 2106's are worth the extra money over the 1106's ? Was hoping someone has used both and might have some info.

I ran the 1106's 2 yeras ago and upgraded to the 2106 last year they both are great riggers if its speed your looking for the new hp's are very fast.The large lighted counter is also a very sweet option no more condensation and easily seen , the new rod holder for the boom is a nice touch as well .You cant go wrong with either one good luck

Yes the new 2106's are nice and have some sweet upgrades but the 1106's work flawlessly and imo aren't really worth the extra money. Save the extra money and buy more tackle lol
