Hi all. 1st trip to the big water this year. Not sure what my issue was today but have never dropped so many fish . Hooks seemed sharp, but I will be changing it out on my Hammer fly b4 I go out again.

The Hammer time combo took 6 of the 9 hits (landing 1 6# king). Most action was in the 160 - 190FOW on wire out 210 on #3 setting. A mag 42nd spoon on rigger set at 75 took 2 hits (landing 1 8# laker). A glow NBK took the other hit on rigger set at 60'.

Thanks Brian, I guess that makes me feel a little better. It was frustrating as hell though.

You guys still use channel 72 out of Sandy? I only have a handheld and didn't hear a peep Friday morning. I figured everyone was using cell phones
