Fishfinder keeps Flashing on & off ???

I have a Lowrance Fishfinder and the screen keeps flashing on and off on and off

Any ideas what it may be or if there is someplace in the Rochester Area that can fix it

For starters check your ground, or reroute your power directly back to the battery and see if that helps.

I had that problem once and timed my blinks to when it was off so it always seemed like it was on geese you shoulda figured that out

Ray I knew I could count on you to fix the Problem and it was so simple I over looked it, Thanks Ray

Had it happen twice to me once a wire connecter was a little corroded on the inside cut it off put on a new one and was good. Might be a quick fix just run the wiring and see what it looks like the other time the transdeucer bracket broke and would swing and pivot so it would stop getting a reading and just flash

Check the battery volts too. Some of the newer units need extra juice. I was on a fancy ranger walleye boat last year. And we tried to start the big motor, the unit shut off. Volts were too low to power.

The Touch Pad can be faulty like on my 107C. Live with it or upgrade to a new unit.
