How to Properly wire a pair of Big Jon Brutes?

Just ordered my first set of electric downriggers, 2 Brutes. What is the best way to wire these?? Should I dedicated a separate battery just for the down riggers hooked up to a onboard charger / alternator? Just not sure how much juice these things are going to draw. Don't want to burn up motors because they're not get enough amps or have a dead battery. Should i use in-line fuse or maybe a small fuse block? What gauge wire? I was told to use 4 gauge welders cable.

Do not fuse the brutes as the draw a lot of amperage. And the have a built in circuit breaker. 10 awg appliance cord will work just fine to wire them. Hope this helps
