10 color reel

Just a suggestion but I use a Penn 210's. They don't make them anymore, but they're still available off e-bay. Plenty of room for lead and backer.

how much have you fished with it? the drag and everything seem to hold up?

The drags and all are really good. They were made when Penn was a quality reel. I also have 2 209LC line counters and there's no comparison between the two. It's like they were made by 2 different companies.

You're right - I also have 2 of the old 209s (downrigger back-ups) and was shocked when I saw the lack of quality of the new ones.

I don't use them for lead. They're solid but slow - the retrieve ratio is only about 3 to 1.
