I used the SPX 5 several years ago (3) when they first released it before the recall and it worked fine, I loved the wireless remote option.

Im using the new spx-5r and love it. Easy install, inexpensive and it keeps the boat straight. Only downside is the steering wheel mounted motor is very loud.
