With the crappy weather/wind the last week or so, and the calm weather we will have this week, how long will it take the lake to settle and get back to "normal"? Also, what's the best way to fish it? Go deep? Cruise around 100-150ft and see whats there?

All ya can do is back up 10 yards and punt ..but if you watch the reports and ya get out there and putt around you will get enough data in the grey matter that will give up some direction to follow. If ya got down temp and surface temp you will have something to start with. The sounder will give you some idea where bait is gathering and the big fish will not be far away from them especially after the disruption. They will be hungry. Look for color setup in the water someplace and the bait will be there. Should only take a couple days and nights of calm and not to extreme temps and the lake should be more predictable. I say this weekend by Saturday if it stays calm and a couple days of south westerly breeze under 10 knots along the south shore should get things going predictably. But get out there and tell us what ya saw and did, information is always a good thing ;)
