Fishing/water conditions near Bowmanville

I am headed out to Bowmanville for a week's fishing with my kids from June 16 to the 24. Given the weather conditions in the Montreal area since the beginning of spring have been less than ideal (lot's of rain, wind, and below normal temperatures) I was wondering what the conditions were on the lake near Bowmanville. Can anybody give me some info?

Is the fishing anything like last year at the same time? Spent 1 week there last year at the same time and the fishing was awesome.

It's been better from what I understand. At least in the area of the lake I fish.
