SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Set up due north of the port wicked current prevented an east/west troll so we adjusted to a 32 degree troll. That was the ticket for the first pass and in the first 40 min we had 4 in the box and missed another 4. The rest of the day was all about the misses as we kept getting slapped by the steelhead, but could not keep them hooked up. The fishing really slowed down for us as the morning progressed. After a day of "couldn't do anything wrong" yesterday; today returned me to just another humble fisherman!!

Carl, the steelhead were insane today. We had them coming up thru all the lines and tangling stuff beyond recognition. Off course they had to use those nasty moss mats for cover. I was trying to weave around those all day . But wasn't doing very good at it. Lots of salad along with fish.
