Anyone using chunks of trout as an attractant?

Just as the title question suggests, I wonder if anyone's had any luck tipping your hooks with chunks of fish that you had caught before?

works for sharks in the ocean most fish are not canabals

I've used strips of perch successfully for panfish, bass and pike. I've never tried cut bait of any kind for trout or salmon yet.

We use cutbait in Ontario for salmon as part of our program. It works well, have seen cutbait out fish spoons and flies on more than one occasion.
