Indian River Lake Bluegills

I fished a small lake yesterday morning and there were swarms of gills off the edge of weed beds. A mix of sizes but there were some big ones. Took home around 20 for the table but I want to go back and try them on my fly rod. Also hit some largemouths which I released, one about 18". I may have to try to catch them on Saturday.

Ssswaaarmms of bluegills....Niiiicce! Good eats. And much fun on the flyrod with complimentary bass on the side....! And what wine will U be having tonite with your fish fry? (or beer?)....

Fished bass this morning and saw a ton of gills so went back with the fly rod tonight and caught 15 nice ones.Lots of fun.
