SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

SLOW day, but beautiful weather. Went out in the afternoon around 3:30 and set up in 140 fow and headed north. Not sure what the NE blow the last two days was going to do to the fish, as all week it seemed the hot depth was 170-210 fow. Trolled out to 250 fow and not a hit or bump. Varied speed from 2.2 to 2.9, but nothing. Made the turn and started back in and at 230fow the first hit on the deep diver came. Small king about 5lbs, but made my daughter's day. We circled back and picked up a laker in 220fow on the other diver, then nothing again. Decided to head in shallow and we picked up two more lakers (one about 8lbs) on the divers and finally got one rigger bite (deep rigger) which was the 5lb steelie. Had a couple miss hits on the divers, but nothing else on riggers, slider lines, 6 color lead core or small, long lead dipsy. All the fish were 60-70foot down on rigger or the dipsy. Changed lures a couple of times....SEA FLEAS are driving me nuts! :)

Happy Father's day to all!
