Cayuga 6/17 Jiggin'

Experienced a fun couple of hours on Cayuga Sunday a.m. jigging with my son. Good early bite, but the wind won the battle around 8am and we headed in (14' boat).

Caught several all sizes, including these 11lb+ lakers, all released...

I'll second what zackblain says....it gives you a whole new attitude about laker fishing when jigging can b done rather than trolling!!

Jigging is definitely addicting and I really enjoy watching my kids reel in big fish on light tackle. Put my trolling gear in storage several years ago after a trip out with John Gaulke (very highly recommended - fingerlakesanglingzone.com) and haven't touched it since.

waddaya gettin your lakers on if ya don't mind me askin, I've had great luck with 1oz northland gumballs and white superflukes
