well i got a report sodus bay had safe ice and the bluegill bite was hot..nuttin better than cleanin a 5 gal pail of bluegills and enjoying that 3 lbs of fresh fish..darn snowmobilers were everywhere,heard a report some were even hitting the ice near thechute and fell through..but i didnt see any activity out there but the clam was zippered shut and my heater is a tad noisey

Guys need to really be carefull near those pop up pressure ridges. Its like hitting the side of a boat or something....

Heard the pike were hittin in the bay. Since I can't troll cause my ECM is at Mercury, I think I'll get the shanty and tip ups out. I don't think I'll need the heater this weekend. Anyone is welcome to join me, I'll likely be alone....
