There are salmon in Keuka and Sutton spoons are back!

Fished Keuka 6/11 - 6/15 with a buddy out of North End Marina.

After experimenting with dipsy-SD-fly combos, d'riggers with flashers, dodgers, spoons, peanuts and copper rigs finally found fish in middle of West arm with Seth Green rigs 110' to 180'. 32 0zs of lead on the bottom and Sutton hammered silver 38's and 88's were the right combo, a couple on thin Dr. 165's silver and blue. Only caught fish on bottom two spoons of 5 spoon rig 20' apart. Over 3 1/2 days 41 fish in boat, released all but 3 that were badly hooked. Found Vent-A-Fish worked well on several bigger fish. Lakers 12"-25". Biggest fish of trip got off at transom ;( .

Salmon came on Hammered silver Sutton 38 -D'rigger 50' down over 90 FOW south of State launch. 24" and 4#.

Took advantage of rain out to take a pilgrimage to Naples and Sutton Co. They have a new local plater doing their work exclusively and they are rapidly building stock. We were able to get our needs from #6's to 06's. All major finishes were there. They look revitalized!

Was up to Keuka a few weeks ago . The Dec was doing a stocking of salmon that day. 22k of the little fingerlings were stocked that day . Good to see a few reach adulthood once in a while
