thanks for the report , coming over from michigan on friday . Nice to hear the bite is on, can't wait. Maybe we will cross paths over the weekend I have a blue and white 22 starcraft, it;s been 20 years since we visited Olcott last can't wait.

Things will be different by this weekend. Steady weather and good reports out of wilson suggest fishing will be good both west and east. We just found a pocket of 48 deg water down 100 ft surrounded by 52 deg down 100 ft everywhere else. Everytime we entered our 48 deg pocket, rods started screaming. We lost our spot by 11:30 with the WSW blow. Your best friend right now will be your down speed/ temp unit to find subtle temp breaks and keep on top of the nasty currents in Lake O.

King Slammin,

When you mention "divers" 100,200,300 do you mean the Torpedo Divers?? Are these any good, the websight looks interesting.

Seahag sorry I didn't get back to u on the radio. Glad u did well here in NY. If u can make it back later this summer the fish will be even bigger.

When we say divers its walker or dipsey divers. Usually on wire line

Guys, any updates on Olcott on where to start looking? I am headed there tomorrow for 6-days of fishing.

After all the hard NW winds we had, your guess is as good as mine. Check your temps. The colder water may have been brought closer to the surface. If you find them, shoot me a pm. I doubt I will be out until Sun at the earliest, so I won't have a report up anytime soon. Good Luck.
