Sucking Air ?

My 1986 35 Merc is running Fine But it seems when running at idle for a while I have to pump the primer bulb. Thinking maybe a bad tank or motor connection . Hoping it's not the fuel pump? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The bulb Is the first thing to try good to replace them every other year. Or atleast have a spare one.

Did you check your hoses between the pump and the carbs?

O ring. On the tank connector? Leaking fuel?

If the bulb is going soft, it could be a leak on the suction side just as easy.
