Any have an opinion on this unit? I have a chance to buy one and wanted any opinions good or bad.

If is a decent fishfinder but dont get caught up by the furuno name.

It is only a 350 watt unit and it has been discontinued for some time. Basically 300-350 watt sonar units sell new these days for under $300(not furunos, furuno doesnt make anything under 600 watts anymore).

Also pay close attention to what kind of transducer you get with it and that its not a super narrow cone like a lot of salt water guys use. You want something at least with a 25 degree cone and 45 would be ideal.

Im not saying dont buy it because it is a good fishfinder and it is color which is really nice but you have to get it at the right price.

Thank you for the reply.Thats exactly what i needed to know.Someone else i talked to mentioned it only being a 350 watt unit and to save my money toward a 600 watt unit.Thanks again.
