Anyone fishing smallies in the lake from I-bay? Haven't tried in a few years but I heard it was a little better last year.

There's been some discussion recently but no reports. Consensus seems to be that they're there, staging deeper than you'd expect and feeding heavily on gobies these days.

I hope to get out an evening this weekend and give it a shot....been a few years but I have the itch...so gonna have to find out for myself because if they are getting them there sure isn't much talk about it.....figure on starting 25fow and working out from there....

25 to 40 should be good ,,,sat and sunday I saw many many floating near sodus offshore on a scum line musta had another warm water inversion last week...

That sucks.......Its been a while since I've even tried..pretty much been going after pike/largemouths...but nothing will compare to the old days out there....
