Gobies as Alewives

Guys I have a quick question that Stimulated my peabrain the other day.. I was jigging Lake O the other day and snagged a few Gobies and they were good sized.... I was thinking about filleting them to work in a Meat Rig or Sushi setup... I know it aint an Alewife but wondered how it would work.... Anybody ever try this before????.. Thanks Woody

Try perch filets, I've hooked strips of perch in my flyes and got kings.

Jimmy never thought about that. Thanks for the information... Its like when the Cormorants invaded the area wanted to blast a few of them and you cant there Federally Protected... Thanks

Mike Im not sure if I could waste a perch fillet like that.. Maybe a sun fish....

my guess is they ban using them all together so people dont even have a chance of moving them from lake to lake
