Finally, at the end of the season, my boat has returned after receiving a new transom, stringers, bulkhead and coupler after the coupler blew on Memorial Day.

Now, where are the fish from the Bar to Olcott???? Want to head out one more time this year before winterizing it for the winter.

No before & after pics, you wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at the boat, all new wood & glass inside the bilge and painted to match. Its definately much stronger and solid than the original design was.

Adam,

I did not realize you were having all that work done. Hope you are happy with the outcome and are able to get into some fish this weekend.

Good luck

Hi there,

Just curious where you had the work done? I just took my boat in to be rebuilt over the winter. Took the boat to Great Lakes Marine Works in Sodus Bay. Sounds like a similar project.

Thanks Dave

Hey Richard, Happy with the boat and how it turned out. No fishing this weekend though, just a cruise to make sure everything works.

Dave, Excel Marine on Grand Island did the motor install / mechanical work and Riverside Marine in West Seneca did the glass work. Both shops did very good work, very good attention to detail.

oh, and congrats on finally getting the boat back. As you know, I lost the entire summer of 2003 having the same work done on mine. I feel your pain my friend.

Thanks Adam,

I thought you may have stayed further west to have your work done. I've heard nothing but good things about those two places. Thanks again
