SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

My niece wanted to go out fishing Friday morning, so me, my wife, my Dad, and her got in the boat and launched around 5am. Motored out to 120' of water and setup with two riggers and two dipsies. It was rough, so we could only troll with the wind to the north. We picked up a skippy king right away on a rigger then had it release about 30 minutes later in about 200' of water. I handed the rod to my niece as it peeled out line. After a few minute fight, we got the fish in the net. It measured 35". We did not weigh it and threw it back to catch again. It was her biggest fish ever and she managed to catch a bigger fish than we caught all week in an hour of fishing. It was a long, rough ride back in against the waves, but worth it. A great end to a great week.
