braid to leadcore

I've always used a mono backer on my leadcore setups. Always has worked fine.

Problem I'm having is that I have to re-adjust my board releases when I switch

between core rigs and braid rigs. So, I'm wondering if any of you use braid

as the backer on your leadcore setups, and if so, what knot do you use to tie

them together?

I use braid to a piece of 30# mono to the leadcore.

I second (or third) this knot. It is great for leadcore, super easy and very small, use it for both sides of the core, power pro and mono. Google it if you don't know how to tie it, Paul and Bud should be able to show you as well.
