I'm in the market for a few new downrigger weights and was just looking for some input on what all of you run. advantages/disadvantages. i have cannon mag 10s. thanks

switched from 10lb balls to 13lb torpedos from Atommik. lot less blowback, track straighter, but a lot slower coming up with the Mag 10s

A-TOM-MIK 15lb torpedoes are the way to go. They are priced right, and you will have the least amount blowback.

Torpedos are the way to go. I run a 15lb on my probe and 13's on the others. I can run 4 riggers at 140' with no tangles and little blowback

Sharks. Order off their website and they aren't that much

not much?

at least double the price of other types

Wrong I paid less for my sharks then my torpedos. And they should ne double the price cause there 4a times better. Atleast 10 ft less blowback with 12 lb sharks over 15 lb torpedos. Not to mention the amount of fish they bring into your spread. I've seen fish streak 48 ft up. I painted one with glow paint then did the top of it with that chart safety paint. You can't say this is better then that if you've never fished with them. You can also turn much tighter without crabbing.

I'd like to suggest a downrigger weight lending library, considering the cost. I'm poor... :(

They are 65 and 89 on atommik website for torpedo. You got a hell of a deal. Can't even find 12 lb round ball for that price
