Yes ...they scratch around the bottom, and crrrraaaaap all over your boat, ....however I have yet to taste one like chicken. Maybe if I didn't eat the cedar board it was cooked on, I would be swayed to think if it was chicken or not :wondering::nod::shake::shake:

It is an embarrassment to the char family and an insult to the salmonoide within the lake.

They are the Rodney Dangerfield of the Lake.....No respect

A big LT will tear up your drag like a King and bulldog you at the boat....

I'm not one to specifically target them, but if its a pile of Forkies VS a big ole skunk, Forkies it is....

Lake trout get a bad rep for some odd reason. I eat a lot of trout and salmon and in my opinion lake trout are the most mild tasting of all the salmonoids I have eaten. When grilled or smoked I think they are very good, a little oily but good which is why I like to grill them.

I love fishing for them! It just so happens that other fish get to my lures before the Lakers. I don't know....one of these days I'll figure them out!
