Sodus area at end of August??

Does the salmon fishing carry through August in the sodus and fair haven area? I might be vacationing there... thanks!

They'll definitely be sniffing around, looking at their spawning sites. Heavy rains & dark days will trigger the false runs.

Yeah I know, but I don't want to stay that close to the inlaws! Looking at last years reports it seems like a good mixed bag of fish near sodus in the late summer.

You will find a mixed bag, along with some great salmon fishing in August at Sodus Point. This year has been crazy with kings since spring. And on a better note, no in-laws. Enjoy!

Yup best time in Sodus is August, should be some real bruisers this year (i keep losing them, so they're only getting bigger )
