riggers and spinnys

Just curious......I have always just run two spinnys on the corner riggers and one clean spoon down the chute rigger. I just read that many guys run 3 or sometimes 4 spinnys on riggers in late summer. Does anyone else do this?? It seems to me that it may be to much action under the boat???

I will start with two spinnies and two spoons. I will let the fish tell me what they want from there. I have had as many as three down and as few as none.

It changes from day to day, as Richard said, I let the fish tell me what they want. Some days, before it's all said and done, I have spinnies on every line in the water.

I usually run a mix of Spin Doctors and Pro Trolls on riggers and dipsies. This gives the fish a vote for the day. I mix in a spoon and J-plug as well. Unlike the November elections, exit polls are great tools on the lake.
