number of entrants in loc derby?

Does anyone know how many people actually enter the LOC derby? Was just curious if it was around a thousand or more like five thousand or so?

my ticket number is 4000 and change, im guessing close to 5 or more

I think that count begins in spring and lasts through fall. It's not just for the summer.
