SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Tough grind out there today as the far-reaching south shore turn-over had cold temps, crazy currents and WEEDS. Strong east to west current inside with an increasing NE current as you head out. TONS of bait but very little in terms of targets on the graph. Decided to grind out the inside water instead of jetting out to the fence offshore. With all the bait inside we thought we would eventually run into some decent sized fish but the fish had other ideas. You really had to check lures every 10 minutes for weeds which is trying to the senses. My feeling is when those kings find all the bait inside it will be game on real soon.

Rare indeed!

I'm sure it'd be bigger if it were black-mouthed and about 25 lbs heavier...
