when i go to start my boat....1986 starcraft islander 3.0 liter..... i turn the key and sometimes she doenst turn right over... i mean nothing not a click or anything but after turning the key back two or three times she takes right off like normal...... i was wondering if it was maybe a weak cell in the battery? maybe this doesnt have anything to do with it BUT my downriggers seem to be coming up very SLOWLY all of a sudden... IDK :(:( any input would be helpful guys thanks in advance :beer::beer::beer:

Hey bud did you check your conections to make suree they are tight. you can always take your bat out and have it checked if they are tight my boat did that a couple times but it fixed its self so I can't give you a better idea

I'd look at all wire connections. Also look at where the wires go into the connectors that you bolt on.

Clean the battery. Terminals. Check. The voltage 13 volts are good. Consider the neutral start switch solenoid switch. Lubricate the starter gear shaft.
