I had a great season considering I just got my boat about a month or so ago... and had a steep learning curve to get into this sport :D

Just a few Q's on stackers....

Generally how high up from the ball do you run them... 10', 20', 30'?

Which lead (ball or stacker) should be longer to avoid tangles (how much longer)?

I'm also still trying to figure out the best method for running sliders when I head out by myself.... rubber band, free slider, etc.... I'm hoping to hit the water one more time before i lay it up for the winter. Any tips for next year would be great.

cd - when I have a second person aboard, we'll usually run a fixed stacker 7-10 ft above the ball. Lower line will have a 10-20 ft longer lead. Hasn't tangled on me yet. (Did someone say "Mup"?) :D
