Small Boat Harbor Launch - water levels

Fished out of the small boat harbor yesterday with a friend in his 19' Starcraft. Water seemed pretty low at the docks, just wondering how launching a bigger boat would be, as it seems like the docks are pretty short, not reaching out into deeper water.

To launch his boat, I backed the truck in and he drove the boat off the trailer and then back on when returning, with me operating the winch. Not sure I can do that with my 24', looking for anyone else's experience. All the other boats at the launch yesterday seemed to be similiar sized, around 19'.

Adam, I think the deeper launch in the North launch. If you are fishing Walleyes drive a little further to Sturgeon Point or the Catt.

Adam,Launch at Erie Basin Marina,lots of depth usually no wait in or out,parking close to ramp as well.

Chad, have you ever launched at Sturgeon Point? From the satellite pic of the marina, it looks like a small place. Would be a lot closer run to the fish from there I think.

Sturgeon has a mint launch. Good bass structure around also if the walleye are not biting

Sturgean a good launch, so is erie. Hanove, kinda dicey with that creek and all. But heckuva fish cleaning station.

Hanover, the catt. is LOW and the pad is sliding into the creek. The Marina launch is steep so a better option for your boat if you go to the Catt.
