Hi guys. Wanted to post out of frustration.

My wife and I purchased a 2013 legend two weeks ago. We were told that delivery would be in 5-7days. We paid cash, 37k. Two weeks later and they don't know when or even if we will get the boat before the end of the season.

We stopped in over the weekend and the response was "well, we shouldn't have have told you 5-7. You'll have to wait. If you don't like it, tough luck"

Really torn and frustrated because the product is excellent IMO. But customer service is really wearing us out.

Over and out from someone that just wants to go fishing.

If you have a contract stating delivery in 5 to 7 days, and they didn't meet the deadline, demand your money back in full. Personally I would never pay in full until day of delivery and satisfaction with the product.

We are at our limit. Like Brandrus says. There plenty of boats out there. Massive disappointment. I have let the owners know and they seem to be unhappy. I will give a bit of a chance and then move on if no change. Every other boat buying experience of mine has been great, this is keeping me up at night.

that much ca$h.. get your money back.

Its gonna happen, not too worried about that. we are lucky enough that we can have a bit of money tied up waiting for a refund if and when we need to switch (thank goodness). right now the biggest deal is that there is the last long weekend of the tourney comin, we have taken time of specifically for it.

amazing how much of a draw the water gives, and thats the biggest issue for us. even the kids are wondering whats up

thanks for the comments guys/gals, i really just needed to vent. patient fisherman, impatient when pulled this way and that as a consumer.

cheers

I would demand my money back.

Also never a good idea to pay up front without having a sea trial of the boat.

Even a new boat needs a sea trial as problems are inevitable with a boat, even a new one.
