Took my dad out for a little fishing. Haven't seen many reports so we just guessed on depths and locations. All 3 fish came on 225 wire. Clear dipsey, 2.5 setting with no ring. White SD/ Hammer fly. 1st was a steely in 350 FOW. 2nd was a small king in 406 FOW. Last one in 412 FOW. It ripped line out to 550' and my dad kept joking around he had bottom. It was getting late so I brought all the lines in thinking it would be our last fish and it was a good one. After we finally got it in we noticed it was hooked in the side fin. It was around 20lbs I am guessing. Guessing that is why it ran so hard. All 3 were released on the side of the boat with out ever leaving the water. Saw a few other boats out. Not our best day but fishing with my dad is always special. Gonna try again Sunday.
