Heading to the big O this fall

was wondering what everyones opinion for the best fishing would be, for salmon, bows. etc. out of the following 4 areas. chaumont bay, henderson bay, mexico bay or black river bay. this will be my first trip ever to the lake so want a starting place. i see alot of people talking about the oak but would be a lot longer of a trip to get there.

what do you recommend i bring for lures, spoons, flies, etc. and best colors for that time of year?
