SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Started the am inside and the screen looked good until the sun poked over the horizon. Slide out to 160 and did some teen kings. After getting some intel, I slid back in to 90 - 110. After a short troll, the 180 wire on a 1 setting starts throbbing. After a 50' run, the fish just dogged all the way to the boat. When it broke the surface, we knew it was a derby king. Canuck33 slid the net under the current Orleans derby leading king @ 30.13lb. Shortly afer rerigging, we did another major and a small brown. After a couple more good rips, and drops, we headed to the laker spot and did a mess of lakers but LOTS of 3 to 6lb lakers. We only had one decent laker at 12lbs. The guys in 400 FOW were lighting up the kings. Hopefully the weather cooperates so we can get out there this week and next weekend.
