83/200 Transducer Input

I have one but haven't installed it yet. I'm running a 38HD and HDS-8 but only running a 200 shoot thru and have them networked it's great for Erie but leaves alot to be desired for deep water fishing on Ontario.

How is the 83/200 performing for you guys? downrigger tracking, marking fish deep, bait balls etc.

My HDS-8 Gen2 works like a champ with the 83/200 stock ducer that came with it. The one thing I had to do is change the ducer setting to DEEP WATER TROLLING. That made all the difference in the world. Before I found that setting, it would loose bottom in 100 - 150 feet of water. Once I made the change, it's picking up the thermocline, bait balls, and fish hooks. I have not installed riggers on the new boat and most likely will not till next year (so I don't know about seeing the rigger balls). Still not sure what models I want. I am selling off my 4 old ones first.
