I am thinking about hitting river tonight and if i dont get home to late maybe try in the morning also. Its hard to leave after dark when you have it basically to yourself. They are some nice eyes Kevin, that seems to be about the average as far as i can see. I have caught 4 total, all around 21 to 25 inches very solid fish.Good luck fishing

I got the bass deeper (65-75 feet) but didn't fish for them till later in the morning.. Walleyes I caught were 25-40 feet. Caught the bass on 1 oz. drop shots and walleyes trolling sticks.

Bass 65-75Ft WOW. Were they stacked up good or spread out? Whats the water temp in the river? I've been fishing BRB and Sandy Pond today...77-79 deg in lake and in the Pond.

River is also very warm. There seem to be two groups of smallies in the river. Some seem to stay shallower in the 15-30 foot range but many go deep in August and they are definitely tightly schooled on bait. I've caught them 125 feet down.

I got skunked on the walleyes today but caught a nice limit of 14-17" smallmouths I guess I'm getting a bit selective when I feel like I had an unsuccessful morning cause I didn't hit a walleye.
