Algae Bloom????

Is that a massive algae bloom going on in the rochester area only??? I have seen simular blooms in the past, but not this large and different in color and hanging around big time. I hope it stays when the sharks move in. Is this everywhere?? I have not made to many phone calls to find out,,,,, interesting. This is definately different.

Look at by typing in google " lake Ontario MODIS imagery " it's HUGE. Almost all of the south shore from point breeze to Mexico bay.

I have never seen the lake so green. It is unreal
