Out of Point Breeze the fish in 70 foot of water are solid schools of large and small hooks from 50 foot to the bottom. This morning there are ten boats on the horizon working for walleyes. We anchored up yesterday and landed over 200 perch, keeping 40 over eight inches with half a dozen 12+ inchers. This is really good news for the future for perch fishermen. Also good news for the well fed seagulls. Frozen emeralds and pinhead emeralds from Dave's Bait in Derby did the job. My partner had 50 doubleheaders on his spreader rig as soon as it hit the bottom.

Today the thermocline fish schools moved out to 79 foot of water. Old timers came in with 32 perch after searching a lot of water in lake Erie. Frozen emeralds with salt worked.

My brother slayed the big jack perch off the Catt in 69' out front this weekend. Had the place to himself. Shinners on bottom.
